The Functions of the Workplace Health and Safety Representative

Aligned to Unit Standard 259622 (Level 2, 3 Credits).   This course describes the duties and responsibilities of of the Health and Safety Representative in the Workplace.   The course covers the policies, risk management, responsibilities and duties of both employees and  employers, the representatives and committees.

Part 3 of the course address the responsibility to report incidents, acts and omissions to add to a culture of occupational health and safety.  Finally, Part 4 addresses the general activities of the Health and Safety Representative.
